Flash Forest's debut release for R&S Records sister label, Apollo. Out 2012. So pleased to see this great label pick up on the fresh sounds from Melbourne's Flash Forest...a perfect match. For the uninitiated, Apollo is a subsidiary of the legendary Belgian label R&S Records which released the first record by Aphex Twin and classics like Sun Electric "O'Locco". They were a prime mover behind the continental house scene in the late '80s (formerly known as NEW BEAT). Apollo specialized in the new age / ambient house sound that is one of the cornerstones of Chillwave, releasing records by Orb cohorts System 7, Model 500 (Juan Atkins), Biosphere and the classic "I Love You" by Electrotete among many others. soundcloud.com www.facebook.com www.facebook.com www.facebook.com
