Eating Seoul: Opium in K-Town

Opium brings her winter fashions to Seoul for the Chinese New Year of the Dragon. A quick view of Seoul in 2012 as Asia takes its role at the center of a new world order. The trendy Gangnam area hosts Samsung City, the Financial community and the highest concentration of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and young trendy people. Seoul'd out after a week of below freezing temperatures not fit for man or beast the Korean BBQ is warm, Japanese Yakiniku and the chicken and beer is the hot new food. Food has way too much salt and braing killing MSG. Too many people smoke, there no electric taxis resulting in smog. Crowded subways are clean, fast, cheap. This is part of the trend setting golden triangle from Tokyo to Seoul to Shanghai center of a new world order.
